We were given the impression that the cleaners had JUST come to clean but the area itself reflected otherwise. We’ve never experienced a pre-check in fee and that made us feel like a cash grab. After we politely expressed that the fee was new to us and that we would let others know in our review, the host told us that “retaliatory reviews are not allowed per AirBnB’s review policy”. We understand a critique isn’t what you want to hear but deterring us from writing an honest reflection on how you’re conducting business in hospitality isn’t professional. Respectfully, we wouldn’t be writing to this extent if the home reflected our $75 agreement" (6/5)
